is a new BSC virtual series, presented in partnership with
A three part event,
#BMF will premiere new segments in September (Roots), October (Wounds) and December 2020 (Healing), with each act consisting of a panel discussion and artistic performances addressing the challenges experienced by Black men, specifically Black Queer men, as it pertains to the ability to express, process and move through individual and collective experiences - mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
ACT II, “WOUNDS”
takes a deeper look at loss & grief,
isolation, depression, HIV/AIDS, as well as COVID-19 and how they often color our experiences and affect our everyday lives. In “WOUNDS” the #BMF panelists,
writers and artists share personal insight
and perspectives about how we navigate our way “through the dark”, allowing us to
take a much deeper look at how we get through the “valleys” many of us inevitably experience.
“ACT II: WOUNDS” premieres on,
Sunday, October 25th, at 7pm (EST); admission is FREE with RSVP, and
"Give What You Can" donation based tickets are now available.
